About this course

This course is for anyone with SiteSmith hosting who wants to manage their site without calling for help: business owners, office managers and the person who "does the website".

You'll open the control panel from the client area, find your way around a site, set up email addresses and choose who can read them, keep your mail out of spam, add domains, DNS records and SSL, work with files, FTP and databases, install WordPress, change PHP settings, and make and restore backups. The last section covers security, giving your team access, and the Advanced panel.

The examples use a fictional coffee company, Harbor & Pine Coffee, so you can follow the real screens. No technical background is needed.
