About this course

This course is for teams using SiteSmith Workspace who want a calmer place to talk than email: shift swaps, quick questions, project updates.

You'll learn when to use a channel, a direct message, a group or a thread, how to create and manage channels, and how to write messages with formatting, mentions and files.

The last section covers reactions, pins, search, notifications, muting and your status, so Chat tells you about what matters and stays quiet about the rest.
