Welcome to Shipwright

SiteSmith Shipwright connects to your code repositories on GitHub or SiteSmith Forge. It reviews the code with AI, keeps a list of the features your product has and how finished each one is, and gives your team tickets, plans, meetings, customers and how-to articles to work from.

The rule that runs through all of it: every AI finding waits for a person. A review never changes your workspace on its own. Someone on the team accepts or dismisses each finding, and Shipwright records who did.

Who it's for

Shipwright suits anyone who has a website or app in a repository and wants a steady view of its health: a developer working alone, a small agency, or a business like Harbor & Pine Coffee that has a developer looking after its website and online menu. You don't need to read code to use most of it. Reviews, the queue, tickets and plans are written in plain language.

What it costs

Shipwright is a paid app with no free tier. One plan covers your whole account: every workspace you own and everyone in them. There are three tiers, Starter, Team and Business, which differ in how many workspaces, people and connected repositories you can have and how many AI requests you get each day. You can pay monthly or yearly. The Billing page in Shipwright always shows the current prices and limits.

What this course covers

  1. Getting started: set up a workspace and connect a repository.
  2. AI reviews and the review queue: run reviews, read reports and decide on findings.
  3. Features, evidence and tickets: track what's built and the work that's left.
  4. Team work across the suite: plans, customers, the knowledge base, meetings, members and AI usage.

The examples use the Harbor & Pine Coffee website repository, a small site with an online menu and a new order-ahead form.
