Welcome to SiteSmith Sites

SiteSmith Sites is a website builder in your Workspace. You build pages from designed sections and blocks, style them with a theme, and publish the site on a SiteSmith address (such as harborandpine.sitesmith.cc) or on your own domain.

The All websites page with two Harbor & Pine websites

All websites: your sites, their visits and pages, and your plan's use.

What you can do

  • Start a site from one of SiteSmith's designed themes, from a blank page, or from a description of your business.
  • Edit pages in a drag-and-drop editor, with desktop, tablet and phone views.
  • Set colors, fonts, buttons, header, footer and menus once in the theme.
  • Add forms, sign-ups, booking and other SiteSmith apps with plugins.
  • Publish when you're ready, restore earlier versions, and see visitor stats.
  • Connect your own domain.

Free and paid plans

Open Plan in the Sites sidebar to compare plans and see current prices. In short:

  • Free: one website with up to 5 pages on a SiteSmith address, and a "Made with SiteSmith" credit on the site.
  • Pro and Business: more websites and pages, custom domains, paid plugins such as Custom code, and no SiteSmith credit.

What this course covers

  1. Getting started: how a website is built, and creating one.
  2. Build your pages: the editor, sections and blocks, text and pictures, pages and menus.
  3. Design and go live: themes, plugins, publishing, versions, domains and settings.

The examples follow Harbor & Pine Coffee, a roastery and cafe, as it runs its website and starts a second one for catering.
