Welcome to SiteSmith Studio
This tour was made in SiteSmith Studio: the title cards, captions and music are Studio clips on a Studio timeline.
What Studio is for
SiteSmith Studio is the video and audio editor in your Workspace. You use it to cut together a short promo, a how-to video, a social clip or a podcast episode, then export a finished file you can post anywhere.
Everything happens in your browser. Your project saves to Drive as you work, and the videos, sounds and pictures you bring in are kept in a Studio media folder in your Drive.

What it costs
Studio comes with your Workspace and has no plan of its own. The files you import count toward your Drive storage, like any other file. One feature needs Workspace+: Write captions automatically, which listens to the timeline and writes captions for what's said. You can still add captions by hand with the Caption title on any plan.
What this course covers
- Starting a project in the right shape and bringing in media
- Arranging, trimming and splitting clips on the timeline
- Titles, transitions, slow zooms, keyframes and color looks
- Cleaning up sound, mixing tracks and adding music
- Recording your voice, your screen or your camera
- Exporting the finished video or audio file
The examples follow Alex Morgan, owner of Harbor & Pine Coffee, who is putting together a short promo for the cafe's opening and its fall menu.
