Welcome to SiteSmith CRM
SiteSmith CRM is where your team keeps track of the people you sell to, the businesses they work for, and the sales you are working on. It sits in SiteSmith Workspace next to Mail, Calendar and the other apps, and it covers the paperwork too: quotes, contracts with e-signatures, invoices and a private portal where customers find all of them.
Throughout this course you will follow Harbor & Pine Coffee, a small roaster that sells wholesale coffee to cafes, restaurants and offices. Their CRM is a good model for any business that sells to other businesses: a handful of salespeople, a few dozen accounts, deals that take a few weeks to close.
Find your way around
Open CRM from the Workspace app launcher. The left rail is the map of the app:
- Home: today's tasks, deals closing soon, open quotes and recent activity.
- Contacts, Companies and Deals: your records.
- Quotes, Invoices and Contracts: the documents you send customers.
- Tasks: your follow-ups, grouped by when they are due.
- Reports: the numbers, plus reports you build yourself.
- Automations, Notifications, Settings and Plan below the line.

Home is the page to open each morning: what is overdue, what closes soon and what changed.
The New button at the top of the rail adds a contact, company, deal or task from anywhere in the CRM. The search box in the top bar finds contacts, companies and deals by name, email or company.
Free and paid
Every account gets SiteSmith CRM Free. The Plan page shows your plan, how much of each allowance you have used, and what Pro and Business add. On the free plan at the time of writing you get 1,000 contacts, one pipeline, five custom fields, 100 automation runs a month and 200 emails sent from the CRM a month. Companies, deals, tasks, quotes, invoices and contracts have no limit on any plan. Pro and Business raise the allowances, add AI help and let the customer portal run on your own domain. Prices are on the Plan page.
