Welcome to SiteSmith Docs

SiteSmith Docs is the word processor in SiteSmith Workspace. Use it for plans, letters, meeting notes, job postings, anything you'd otherwise write in a desktop word processor. Every document is saved in your SiteSmith Drive as you type.

The Fall menu launch plan open in Docs, with the outline on the left, the toolbar on top and a table in the page

A document in Docs: the menus and toolbar on top, the outline of its headings on the left.

What's free and what upgrades add

Docs is included with every SiteSmith account at no extra cost. Your documents count toward your Drive storage (15 GB free, 100 GB with Workspace+, 1 TB with Workspace Pro), and one document can hold up to 10 MB, pictures included. See the plan page in Workspace for upgrade prices.

What this course covers

  1. Getting started: making a document from scratch or a template, and how headings, styles and the outline fit together.
  2. Writing and formatting: the slash menu, text styles, fonts and colors, lists, pictures, tables, find and replace, and shortcuts.
  3. Saving, sharing and exporting: autosave, version history, share links, downloading and printing.

The examples follow Harbor & Pine Coffee as it plans a fall menu launch. Each section ends with a short quiz, and the course ends with a course check.
